E3 Update: PS3 Price Drop

Sony has released yet another SKU for the PS3 unit. They are calling it the ” Core Pack” and it is going for $399. Jack Tretton the CEO of SCEA, said, “It will include the same functionality of the 40gb… with twice the storage.” As of September this SKU will be the only one available in stores. It is also important to point out that Sony is leaving out Backwards Compatibility, more than likely to cut cost. Will this new Sku get you to buy the PS3, or is it uninspiring?
